Jonathan R. Nieh is Senior Counsel at Shankar Legal Inc., where his practice focuses on business law, employment law, litigation, and workplace investigations. He represents businesses in disputes and advises clients on contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and other legal issues that arise in the operation of a business.

Mr. Nieh also supports the firm's workplace and institutional investigation practice. His work includes reviewing documents and other evidence, conducting witness interviews, researching applicable policies and legal standards, and assisting with the preparation of thorough, well-supported investigation reports. His careful, methodical approach helps ensure that investigations are fair, impartial, and handled with appropriate sensitivity.

Before joining Shankar Legal Inc., Mr. Nieh co-founded and served as a partner at a boutique corporate law firm. In that role, he counseled businesses, investment professionals, and high-net-worth clients on complex legal and business matters. His experience includes private securities offerings, investment fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, and investment advisory matters. He has also drafted and negotiated a wide range of agreements, including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, subscription agreements, investment advisory agreements, loan documents, and settlement agreements.
