June C. Luu

June C. Luu is Senior Counsel at Shankar Legal Inc., bringing more than fifteen years of litigation experience to the firm's clients. Ms. Luu focuses her practice on workers' compensation defense, employment and labor law, and civil litigation, with a career built on managing complex, high-value cases from inception through resolution.

Ms. Luu has spent the majority of her career in defense-side practice, representing employers and corporate clients in workers' compensation proceedings before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. She has served as lead counsel on complex matters involving significant exposure, and has deep experience in all phases of litigation — from discovery and depositions to hearings, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and first-chair bench trials. Her background also spans employment and labor law, personal injury defense, and immigration matters.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Luu practiced at a Southern California employment and labor firm, where she represented clients in discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters, as well as at a San Francisco firm focused on probate, trusts, and estate planning. Those varied experiences gave her a broad litigation foundation and a client-centered approach she carries into every matter.

Ms. Luu earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is conversant in Cantonese Chinese.
