Simran Brar's Bio
Ms. Brar supports the firm's Employment Law and Investigations practices, where she focuses on fact-finding, compliance assessment, and risk management in sensitive workplace matters. She conducts and assists with internal investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations, and works closely with HR teams and legal counsel to provide practical, grounded advice. Her ability to analyze complex factual records and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations is informed by her prior legal experiences.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Brar practiced at major international law firms in Los Angeles and New York City. In those roles, she developed strong skills in interviewing management, reviewing large volumes of documents, drafting findings, and navigating situations involving confidential personnel information. Her work on high-stakes corporate matters routinely required meticulous due diligence, attention to detail, and evaluation of sensitive employment-related issues—experience that now enhances her approach to investigations and employment counseling.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Brar gained meaningful experience advocating for vulnerable populations through the Immigrant Rights Clinic at UC Irvine School of Law, where she assisted clients facing complex legal and factual challenges. She also earned multiple academic honors for excellence in courses involving regulatory frameworks, analytical reasoning, and policy-driven legal interpretation—skills that she now applies to investigations and employment law matters.
